Wellness and community in the outdoors.
Routes Outfitter exists to empower people towards wellness and community in the outdoors. We're a bike shop and ski shop in downtown Monument, and the gathering place where it all comes together.

We value all relationships with the people around us.
Play
We value outside and sport, and the wellness that comes from both.
Environment
We are stewards of the world we live in and participate with.
Community
We value diversity, inclusion, compassion, celebration and connectedness.
Spirit
We promote joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and responsibility.
The team
Locals, transplants and anyone who loves the outdoors. Everyone here works customer experience: matching you with the right bike, skis or rental, fitting boots and helmets, checking in your repair and getting you out the door ready to ride. Some of us carry a tech specialty too, from junior tech to master tech.
Jason Mezey
From Denver. Bikes, runs, snowboards, skis, hikes, paddle boards, camps and marvels. Mount Herman is his backyard, and he opened Routes in Monument to build the shop he always wanted in the town he lives in. Finished an Ironman 70.3, started biking and running seriously at 30, and once podiumed in downhill with a broken rib.
Ashley Miller
Hayden Mezey
From Monument. Bikes, jumps bikes and skis hard. Loves lift-access mountains in winter and summer: you'll most likely find him at Breckenridge or Trestle, but he's legitimately all over the place.
Jeremiah "JeDi" Dickson
Sam Cavin
From Texas, and a Monument local for more than a decade. Bikes, camps and skis. Raced cross-country mountain bikes for the Highlanders composite team and finished top 30 in his age group at DH Nationals three years in a row with Peak Devo Gravity.
PJ Shields
From Glasgow, Scotland. Bikes and hikes. A firefighter at Station 20 in northeast Colorado Springs, he competed at the 2016 Bagpiping World Championships (and met his wife through bagpiping), races for the Trails End Race Team, and loves riding the new trails in Salida.
Ric Sieben
From Iowa, and in Colorado for 40-plus years. Bikes, hikes and goes leaf peeping every fall. Has visited more than 20 countries and loves safaris in East Africa. A brilliant, patient bike tech. Favorite post-ride eats: Walter's 303 Pizza or Broken Bones BBQ.
Logan Koch
From Monument, and happiest on a bike.

Artem Chizhov
Born in Russia, moved to the U.S. at 7, and has called Monument home for four years. Skis, mountain bikes and swims. Favorite trails: Mule Trail, Trestle and Virginia Canyon. Happiest hanging out with friends and riding with Logan. Post-ride fuel: Taco Bell.
